Which tours can I book?

At Faber-Castell four guided tours are offered by prior appointment:

 

  • Production plant wood-cased pencils: duration approx. 2 hours
  • “Old Lead” Museum: duration approx. 1,5 hours
  • Faber-Castell castle: duration approx. 1,5 hours
  • Press Camp at Faber-Castell castle: duration approx. 1,5 hours

 

Essential information: Tours to be booked prior to arrival!

Dates

Tours can be booked up to six months in advance. 
Please note that advance booking is required for all dates. To ensure that your desired date can be realized, we recommend booking as early as possible.

Where can I book a tour?

Tours can exclusively be booked via our online form which you find here.

What size can a group have?

Dates for families, individual visitors or small groups

A tour of all stations is possible within public and individual guided tours. Depending on availability, public tours take place three times a week, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday (appointment options can be found via https://www.facebook.com/fabercastelldeutschland/events and via the online registration form).


Price per person and per station

9,00 €, payable on site on the day of the guided tour, children under 6 years get free admission.

Exclusive individual tours and tours for larger groups of visitors

Individual tours for individuals or larger groups can be booked up to 20 people. Several groups can be guided in parallel.

How much do group tours cost?

Groups up to 13 persons:

One station: 100 Euro per group

Two stations: 150 Euro per group

Three stations: 200 Euro per group


Groups 14-20 persons:

One station: 7,50 Euro per person

Two stations: 12,50 Euro per person

Three stations: 15,00 Euro per person

 

School groups pay a reduced fee.

Several groups can be guided at the same time.

Which languages do we offer?

Guided tours can be offered in German, English, Italian, French, Spanish, Serb, Croatian and Portuguese language.

Am I allowed to take pictures?

You can take pictures in our museum. Regrettably taking pictures is not allowed in the production plant and the castle.

Are the premises barrier-free?

Regrettably our historic buildings are partly not barrier-free (production and museum), our castle is barrier-free. Please also note, that longer marches have to be considered.
